Sarah is fueled by her passion for group therapy. Convinced of the transformative power of mindfully facilitated groups, she continues to build on her academic foundations with work and action / experiential therapy methods. In particular, Sarah is eagerly pursuing certification in the use of psychodrama and sociometry.
Her commitment to supporting others has contributed to a long and varied career. From New York City and Baltimore, to Albany and Rochester, Sarah has worked in her community through home health care, youth and family services agencies and adult and adolescent addiction programs.
When the opportunity came in 2014 to begin a private practice in Irondequoit, NY, Sarah seized it! From this base she continues to offer therapy services for individuals, couples, families and within groups. Sarah, following her own recovery journey, is committed to daily cultivation of joy through meditation, singing and nature.
